lacasita

La Casita Exterior The Little House Café brings in regular crowds every Tuesday for the special: a green chile burro cooked enchilada style.

La Casita’s secret? “My husband does all the cooking and nobody else touches it,” Lorraine Villalobos said. Ask for their homemade hot sauce, a Graham County legend in its own right.

La Casita Server

One of four locations, La Casita Café opened in 1998. At that time Chef and owner Ray Villalobos wasn’t completely sure he could cook and own a successful restaurant. But with the help of his wife Lorraine, who manages the restaurant and his grandmother’s (Salustia Reynosos) recipes, Ray’s dream of running a successful Mexcian food café became a reality. Ray loves cooking for his guests, but when he is done, he enjoys a red chile beef and beans burro with butter on top.

Some of the authentic Mexican food favorites at La Casita Café are the mild salsa, hot salsa, green chile with beef & pork, juicy machaca, green chile cheese crisp, and sopiapillas.
