Bush & ShurtzOwners

Bush and Shurtz Interior

This Mexican - American food restaurant, which started in 1999, kept the name of the hardware store formerly located in the same building "because everyone knew where it was," said owner Margie Robinson, a Graham County native who has been in the restaurant business since she was 15 years old. Customers love the hot sauce and green chile, saying it's the Southwestern equivalent of great Southern home cooking. Some of the other favorites are the grilled juicy burgers, enchiladas, salsa, and fried ice cream. Their 9-ingredient salsa took two years to perfect by using customer feedback.

Happy Patrons of Bush and Shurtz

Bush & Shurtz is one of the favorite meeting places for the farmers and wives of the Gila Valley. In fact the Farmer's Club meets every afternoon at 1:00PM for lunch. It's safe to say they have a table reserved and waiting for them at the front of the restaurant. They have a great time and talk about everything and anything.

What makes Bush & Shurtz special is that they listen to their customers and give them what they want.
